Meet The Team
Kyle Fisher – Principal and Founder
Kyle had a very clear determination about what he wanted to achieve, leaving no stone unturned. His passion lies in dance. He has been dancing most of his life as he began at the age of 9, and it was very apparent from the off that he would go on to dance at a very high level. Within the first few months, Kyle had already danced his first competition as a Juvenile and positive results came with it. As he progressed, he moved into the Junior, Youth and eventually Amateur ranks and had continued success at all levels. In 2010, he decided it was time to turn professional at the age of 21. This allowed Kyle to begin a career in teaching whilst still be able to compete. In 2011, he made the top 6 in the Professional National Championships held at the prestigious Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
Kyle is a highly qualified teacher with the ISTD association and has had much success in training both medalist and open competitors, including some of the country's best Pre-Champ couples and winners through many different medal levels.
Kyle believes that there's a dancer in everyone and wants to bring the best of Ballroom to all ages and skill levels.
Daniela Chandler - Director
Daniela has enjoyed dancing most of her life but she didn't discover Ballroom and Latin until her mid-30s. She now enjoys dancing as a hobby, competing at Gold Star level.
Daniela has a strong business background, working at a senior executive level for multiple successful organisations. She brings a wealth of knowledge, skills, enthusiasm and ideas to ELITE Dance, ensuring its position as a leading dance school. Daniela dedicates much of her time to overseeing the business and is also responsible for the ELITE Dance brand identity and market positioning, ensuring Kyle's vision to bring people together through dance, and to have adults and children express themselves through dance by providing the best quality dance tuition in the area.
Daniela combines her personal business experience with an intimate knowledge of dance to bring unparalleled passion, dedication and expertise to all her endeavours, ensuring ELITE Dance continue to represent the very best that the industry has to offer.
Hannah Davis - Dance Teacher
Hannah is one of the most talented dance teachers around. Hannah started dancing at the age of 4 and competing at the age of 5. She quickly excelled on the circuit and turned professional in 2010. A year later, she qualified with the NATD (National Association of Teachers of Dancing). She won the UK Closed Championships at the age of 10 and went on to represent England at four World and European Championships at Juvenile (under 12), Junior (12-15), Youth (16-21) and Professional levels.
Joanne Blackshaw - Dance Teacher
Joanne started Ballroom and Latin dancing at the age of 4 with the Ernie Ellis School of Dancing. She progressed through the medal ranks, achieving the Alex Moore Award as both a Juvenile and Junior, and had a formidable all-girl partnership throughout the years. After turning 16, Joanne decided that her real interest was in teaching and so started professional training and achieved her Associate exams. Joanne took over and ran a successful dance school and continued to develop her professional training by achieving Licentiate status in Ballroom, Latin, Sequence and Disco Freestyle. She is continuing with her studies and hopes to achieve her Fellowships in all four genres.
Joanne absolutely loves teaching all ages and levels and attends lots of local competitions as well as the ISTD area competitions and the ISTD Blackpool Grand Finals.
Connie Janes - Dance Teacher
Connie has a real passion for dance, having danced all her life, competing in both Juvenile and Junior formation teams for 9 years with great success. She made the finals at the British Open Formation Championships.
Connie started her love of Ballroom and Latin dance on the medalist circuit and has taken all her medals up to Gold.
Continuing to follow her passion for dance, Connie went on to compete on the open circuit for several years before having a successful dance partnership. This took her to amateur level, regularly making the finals and even being placed in Stars of the Future and Champions of Tomorrow in 2016.
Connie's love of dance wants to see her gain her teaching qualification. She is currently undergoing her training with Kyle Fisher who has meticulous and exemplary training methods and standards, ensuring the production of a first class teacher in the making.
